During Christmas Hong Kong is transformed into a magical place. The Hong Kong WinterFest brings the city to life with tinsel and fairy lights galore. With an enchanting romantic ambiance of the Christmas trees glittering and the skyline shinning, there is no other place to be but in Hong Kong.

The city is covered in festive decorations during this time of year and the biggest of all is the Christmas tree standing proud in Statue Square. Spectators gather to admire the beautiful tree and also to take part in the romantic ritual of couples leaving their ‘love locks’ along the railings, sealing their romance with a Christmas blessing.
